The painting classes are held in three locations on set days of the week; Garstang on Mondays, Preston on Tuesdays and Fridays, and St Annes on Sea on Thursdays.

In these classes I use a simple step-by-step approach to show how a complete novice to painting or an experienced painter, can get effective results using the simplest of means.

No two classes are the same. The classes cover a range of subjects as shown in the programmes below. Students can attend as many classes, or as few classes, as they like (attending one class does not depend on the student having attended a previous one).

Class sizes are typically between six and ten students which allows a great deal of opportunity for one-to-one tuition. All materials are supplied as is all necessary equipment.

Classes start at 10:00 a.m. and finish at 3:00 p.m. with a one hour break at noon for lunch. Hot drinks and a selection of biscuits are available throughout the day.

Programme leaflets covering the winter term from January to March 2020, are available for collection from each venue. They show lesson prices and discounts, the topics being covered, and the mediums and techniques being taught. Adobe Acrobat PDF files of the leaflets are also available to download from the links below:

If you are interested in having a look at a class at work, just call in to one of the venues, come into the class and have a few words with Terry and possibly a couple of the students – entirely without any obligation.

The art class dates and the topics being covered during the autumn from October to December are also available from the links below:

The programme leaflets for summer are available via the links below until the end of the month so anyone can see what is being taught in the classes during December
