Beach Walk pastels
A pastel created on stained watercolour paper. The result proves that an artist does not necessarily need to use a special kind of pastel paper. One type of good quality paper can suit many mediums – keep it simple – ‘less is more’!
This beach scene was painted using ‘gouache’. While traditional watercolour paints are transparent, gouache is a more opaque form of paint.
